Bento lunch box help?
Ok I got my Cute Yellow Bento|Lunch| Box TODAY!.
YAY.
De mo.. I don’t have the Elastic and I don’t wanna bug my mom about buying one on E-bay so I was wondering If there is something else that can hold it together?.
I live in the middle of NO where-ville so please don’t say go out and buy one please.
And I don’t think i would be able and make one.
Here’s what I do have: A 2 compartment bento-box, Chop-sticks, and carrying bag.
But I want a elastic band.
Please help me.
Really your options are to buy one or make one…. so just make one! It’s really not hard!
I know I have TONS of crafting supplies kickin around the house and most others do too! Find some elastic and wrap it around your box. Cut just shy of where it meets and then sew it together. Cover up the seam with a fun pin or stitch on a button. Take some felt or fleece or an old tshirt and whip up a tiny little animal/monster/food and stitch it on instead.
Don’t have elastic just waiting to be used? Find and old bra and cut off the strap, pull it outta someone’s old waistband of pants that were going to the thrift store, a well-cleaned ponytail holder…
A strip off the bottom of a t-shirt would be stretchy enough that you could wrap it around and tie a cute bow on top.
