Bento Box Tutorial

How do you fold a furoshiki with a rectangle cloth?

The tutorials I find online show you how to fold with square cloths, but the one I have is a drastic rectangle. I’m trying to tie up a small bento box. Anyone out there willing to explain? Pictures or diagrams would be ideal : ) 10 pts for whoever can teach me how to do it!

Note: Folding the rectangle doesn’t get a perfect square, so that’s out of the question ._. and I don’t want to resort to cutting my cloth ):

The cloth that you likely have is for folding tenugui, not furoshiki. Although they are similar in that they can both be used for bento lunches, gift wrapping, wine bottles, etc, the origins of either are different as are the folding techniques. Have a look on the web site: http://jzool.com/pages.php?pageid=38 and scroll down to the bottom, where you’ll see the bento wrap using tenugui.
