Hello Kitty Backpack With Hood

How to clean a hooded backpack.?

Well I have a hooded backpack. And its a hello kitty one, where the backpack is red/black/ with hello kitty on the front pocket with white/blue/ and little yellow.

The hood is white/black/yellow/red. But mostly white.. And the white is getting dirty…

I was wondering if I could throw it in the washer or something…

Please help! Its starting to smell!

I wash backpacks right in the machine but not using hot water. Then I hang them from a hanger to let them dry.
