Which bicycle brand is the best?

I am looking to buy cruisers for family bike rides – in the park, around the neighborhood – nothing extreme.
I have looked online and there are some pretty snazzy bikes from Electra and Nirve makes the Paul Frank and Hello Kitty…but I don’t want to spend tooooo much money.
Are these brands really good quality or are you just paying for the brand?
Am I better off getting a Huffy at Walmart?

Check out Performance.com and look at both the Nirves and the K2 line-up. You cant go wrong with a Performance shop bike! If you buy a Huffy or anything else like that that they call a “bike” then be my guest…save your $ and get a better built bike. DO NOT be cheap, it is your life you are playing with here, get one that will last more than one season and buying from a bike shop you get both the service and support that wal mart and the other marts cannot and will not provide you, with them you either return the bike to get one that may be better or worse and you don’t get someone that knows a damn thing about the product they sell. Oh yeah, and don’t take that Huffy to a bike shop, they wont want to work on it and neither would I…
