Hello Kitty Birthday Cake Topper
what to do when a baker made a cake for your child and it was’t anything you asked for?
I had a lady that made her own profession wedding and birthday cakes at home, i asked her to show me some samples of hello kitty cakes, she showed me 2, i picked the one i liked, and got her to make it up, well when it arrived to the party 10 min late, it was nothing like I saw in the email, the hello kitty’s were no hello kitty’s, i was very dissapointed, but i paid her anyways because we had to be out of the room in a half hour, and i wasn’t going to make a sceane in front of my kids and their friends. Plus onnce we tried the cake, the top layer was partially burnt. Would it be rude of me to ask for my money back< i spent 160.00 on it. It was to be 100.00, then i needed it delivered which was 20, then I asked for a 2 toppers, which then it went up to 160, now i would have been fine with it if it was the cake i saw in the picture. Some one give me some advice., thanks
no i think you should completely ask for your money back and if she refuses than go to small claims court or something.because she gave you something you didn’t ask for.if you have pictures of the cake you received at the party and the picture in the email of what the cake was supposed to look like than i think you could have a case that could win in small claims court.plus the cake was $160 that’s a lot of money for a cake so it was meant to be professional and special but she made you a horrible cake instead.
