Where is there a Japanese Idol shop with music goods in NYC?

I am into Japanese pop music and I have a friend who lives in NYC, so I need to know where to send her to get some goods for my favorite artists. The shop could be in one of the surrounding areas of NYC too. An actual shop with an address would be good. I listen to all the popular people so any shop that carries this type of merchandise will do. I am not really looking for books, CDs or DVDs, I want the merchandise like uchiwa (fans), cell phone straps, pins, buttons, wristbands but with Japanese singers on them. I don’t care if the merchandise is official or bootlegged/generic so that does not matter.
