Japanese Kawaii Toys
Why do Japanese girls love cute and small things?
No…this is not to be mean or ignorant. But I do notice a lot of toy or gift products in Japan all have that “kawaii” look. All of the dolls, silverware, posters, stationery, purses, etc. have little cartoons on them with beady black eyes, small mouths and cute little faces. They are adorable but I wonder where this may have stem from culturally?
Small, cute, and baby doll looks are just their perceptions of what’s feminine. The idea of femininity varies from culture to culture.
