What cloth diaper brands do you have in your stash?
I have some chinese prefolds that I just got in preparation for our next child, and our daughter currently uses FuzziBunz, some BumGenius 3.0 AIO , a few Kushies, but mostly KaWaii OS pockets.
What do you use? Do you have a preference with the brands you use? I actually prefer KaWaii out of all the brands I use, even though it’s one of the cheapest brands out there.
BQ: Do you wash prefolds in the same way that you’d wash fitted diapers? How about the initial washing, I hear they shrink…the ones I bought literally came with no washing instructions.
MamaJama, I think you misunderstood my question…that’s okay though. I only asked how to wash prefolds, if it’s the same as fitteds. I know how to wash my diapers. I use Allen’s and love it. 
I mostly have BumGenius, both AIOs and pocket, and a couple FuzziBunz and a few HappyHeinies. My son is a heavy wetter, so I stuff the FuzziBunz and the Happy Heinies with prefolds and use the original inserts to double stuff the BumGenius pocket diapers.
The new prefolds need to be prewashed three times before all the oil of the cotton fiber is removed and they are fully adsorbent. You can just put them in with your normal hot or warm laundry (cold won’t do the trick), just don’t put them in with the pocket diapers right away the first time around. At least that’s what I was told, when I bought my prefolds. After that everything goes in the same laundry just fine.
