Foregin Exchange to Japan?

I really want to visit Japan in my life time, and man do I need to get out of here. I know a few Japanese words (ie baka, kuro, kawaii, etc) but I can’t actually speak the language. It’s not like my local high school has a class on Japanese. Also my family isn’t big on spending money sadly, but I would love to go. Any information you can give me?

Japanese? Begin at smart.fm. Set a reasonable goal. Work slowly towards it. Complete it. Repeat.

If your goal is to simply visit Japan why not get a job and save a large portion of your monthly pay for your trip. Do some calculation. Do some research. Set a tentative departure date. March 2011 maybe? September 2011. Whatever. You decide.

Clear out all this vagueness, longing, wishing stuff.
Don’t focus on things you can’t change (availability of Japanese classes at your high school, family spending habits). Focus on what you want and put together a plan.

What needs to be done?
Do it!

Now leave me alone I have some daydreaming here I need to get done.
