How to look more japanese?

I am looking to look more japanese-ish, or should i say how to be more “kawaii” I am a white American girl with medium length blonde hair and blue eyes. Any makeup or hairstyle tips and tutorials would be appreciated, also some fashion ideas wouldnt hurt. I am sure I have the acting part down, bubbly happy, make peace signs all that I just would not like to look so “american” and please no why would you want to do that whats wrong with you type answers. I would just like as much info as possible, thanks.

‘Cause if you are, then you’re lucky because I’ve attampted this style SO many times and in that time I have learned so much about it.

Wear loads of bright colours, dress in childish cartoons like Mickey mouse, and hello kitty, Immerse yourself into the Japanese culture.
I know this may sound a bit off, but you should hang around with Japanese people too, learn the language.

What I find that most Harajuku’s wear is:
BRIGHT neon colours
They layer thar clothes
They carry toys around with them, like keychains and stuff!
