How do I dress ‘Kawaii desu’?

Today is my friends birthday and me, and two others planed to wear our neko ears & tail. They said we have to dress kawaii desu, I’m not really sure how to dress kawaii. They were aiming for something kinda Nyan Neko Sugar Girls *if you have seen it you know what we mean* I need something that I can wear in the heat but something that I won’t freeze in the ice rink *we’re going to play at the park then going to an ice rink* Just name something an will probly have it or can make it. The neko ears are purple and black and the tail is full black but I need a belt for it to work.

Wow, today, such short notice ^^ But that does not mean it’s the end! Here are some styles you can try:

- Kawaii School Girl
This is actually pretty easy, even if you don’t have the Japanese sailor Fuku (they’re uniform).
What to do:
1. Get a shirt, the type that has button ups and looks school-ish, if you have a school uniform and it consists of this type of top, then use that.
2. Get a black vest with a triangle or circle shape at the hole for the head.
3. Wear the shirt and on top of it the vest. Now get either a plaid or black short skirt.
4. How to make your own long socks with what you have: Get leg warmers, then make them slide and create fold in the end. Preferably black or white leg warmers.
5. Get a big ribbon of either red or black and wear it around your neck so that it can show above your vest.
6. Wear your cat ears and tail and you’re done!
TO KEEP WARM: When you go to the ice rink and if you find it cold, you can convert your leg warmers to what they should be: Leg warmers! Also, you can tie a jacket around your waist and wear it when you go there.

- Kawaii Lolita:
To show up as a lolita, one would think that you’d have to prepare a long time before, but it’s possible.
1. Wear a skirt or a dress. Something with lots of frilly stuff and different colors. It can also be black, really, because that would be considered a type of lolita, like Gothic lolita, and is considered Kawaii.
2. If you are not wearing a dress, wear a top that screams cuteness, like a blouse with ribbons, or buy some ribbons to decorate a plain blouse with.
3. If you are wearing a dress, wear a small jacket, not the long time, in a bright or black color.
4. Wear a ribbon on your head, along with the cat ears.
5. Wear the hand gloved that reveal your fingers. You can buy some at places like Claires.
6. Accessorize! Wear cute earrings and lots of sentimental jewelry, like a heart shaped necklace.
7. Wear cute long socks that reach your knee, and you can tie a ribbon on the top to make it even cuter.
8. Boots. Cute white boots are your answer to sanity
9. Cat ears and tail, and voila, cute Lolita
However, this can never be as perfect as a real Lolita dress, but it serves it’s purpose since you have such short time to prepare

- Simple and Cute
1. Get a plain white shirt and write, in cute colors like light green, light blue, pink, etc. your name or a phrase that is adorable.
2. Get some cute lace and tie the end of the arm sleeves with them.
3. Wear sentimental jewelry, like a heart necklace, etc.
4. Wear the gloves
5. Wear short shorts, and under them knee high socks.
6. Remember to make everything in colors, or in plain black and white.
7. Cat ears and tail and you’re done ^^
