Kawaii Yo
Nihongo desu ka?
I don’t really know Japanese well – will someone tell me if this (very odd) conversation I had to translate for a friend is grammatically correct?
Ano Furansujin wa amari hansamu de wa arimasen. Ano Furansujin mo amari hansamu de wa arimasen.-Demo- (not sure where to put “demo”) Kono Amerika-jin wa hansamu desu yo. Dare desu ka. Anata desu yo.
- Anata wa hen desu. Watashi wa hansamu de wa arimasen.
- Anata wa totemo kawaii desu yo!
This is what I was meant to say:
That Frenchman isn’t very handsome. That Frenchman is also not very handsome. But this (here) American is very handsome! Who is it? … It’s you!
- …You’re strange. I’m not handsome.
- [You don't think you are, but] You’re so (very) cute!
Sorry for Romaji.
It looks correct to me. You don’t need to use so many pronouns, though. After “anata desu yo” they’re really not needed.
If you want to say “You don’t think you are, but” I think you can say, sonna koto iwanai dakedo, but I’m not 100% sure on that.
Kawaii Animation desu YO!
