How old do you have to be to work at Sanrio?

I’m turning 16 next month and I live in Everett, Washington. I plan to work at the Sanrio store in the Lynnwood location. So if anyone knows the age they hire please let me know, asap. And please don’t tell me to ask for myself because their phone lines for the store are apparently disconnected and I’m busy with cheer at the moment and don’t have the time to go. Thank you.

Well by law (California at least) You have to be 16 and have to have a permit signed by your school, school district, City Officials. Now the reason I am leaving an answer is that you gave too much information. So next time be careful. Now most likely they will not reject you because of age. Because of Federal law that states equal chance of employment. “If you have the potential for the job then they cant reject you. Unless there is someone “better” than you”
That is why they interview you and ask for your resume. (If you don’t have a resume, thank you letters don’t try to get a job. Ask your teacher for help on those)

Well, this is how it works
Your Job has to say “I will hire you” by looking at your Resume

So they will see HOW you act during an interview
and WHAT is your achievement is.
Then using that to compare (If any) other people to choose the best one for the job (Remember No Opening = No Job)
(After the interview I suggest sending a thank you letter Through the mail)
Then if they accept you have to go to your school and ask them if it is good for you to get a job (You need good grades and attendance and other factors)
Then go to places that your school tells you to go
by getting government permission (If needed) then take any paper work back to your work place.
If they accept again You get the job.
By fed. law 18 is the limit 16 with exceptions. (I don’t know Washington State Law so I cant help there)
If none of these get through. Oh well………
If they disagree for AGE reasons not QUALIFICATION reasons then you can argue.

For driving I do recommend getting a older car since your premiums coverage is low and your prices are sky high. (If you get new cars)
